There are three branches in the government system. There is the Executive branch, Judicail branch, and of course the legislative branch. The executive branch consists of the president, cheif executive, cheif diplomat, cheif of state, legislative leader, and commander of cheif. The president has limited power like signing away bills for the states or country and throwing in a opinion for big descions. The judicail branch has the supreme court, appet court, and disrtict courts. The supreme court reveiws the laws and policies to put into action this role was established by Marbury vs. Madison. If a law is unconstitutional it will either be pushed to they side or pushed through again with different reasoning. The Legislative branch holds the senate and the house representatives. The house of representataives makes the laws, what spending can be done, they can impreach federal offices, and checks the executive branch.
The senate makes laws, ratifies appoints, tries to impreach the federal offices, and checks the executive branch. Say a bill was made in the house of representatives it would goto the supreme court then if passed there the bill would goto the president. If the president denies it it goes back to the house of representatives and the process starts all over again,.
